Here is a free collection of transparent speed lines textures that you can download and use in your manga.

Each texture is 6,000px by 6,000px. This is equivalent to a page of 20 inches by 20 inches, or 50.8 cm by 50.8 cm, at 300 dpi (dot per inch). It can therefore cover a A4/B4/Letter size page at 300 dpi both in portrait and landscape orientations.

What are speed lines?

If you don’t know what speed lines are: speed lines are a graphical effect used to create a sensation that characters or the camera is moving in your manga pages.

They were used for the first time in the early 1900s to give the feeling of cars moving on posters. They later made their way into comics and manga, and are now a key component used in manga as a mean to focus on things or expressing movement.
